Ouch. Sounds like prime lawsuit target for Trump.

I doubt he'll sue. I suspect this image will start cropping up at his rallies held up by his supporters. It's a powerful image of him. Patriotic. It even has him pointing towards a brighter future. It's the bestliest image. If it catches on he'll start telling the story about the day he posed for the photo shoot.

I'd pay serious money to be in the room when a delegation of Senators goes to the White House, a la Nixon, and tell him to 'git" or he'll be impeached.

I actually think a "quit or we evoke the 25th Amendment" is just as likely.

You know, I wish I still lived in a world where I considered this possibility entirely unlikely.

Trump started his morning twittering an hour ago

The more he tweets, the simpler I believe he really is.

Along with an RT eclipse meme of Trump eclipsing Obama.

I'll just leave the comments by Liverpoolmiss on this

Oh god, what has he retweeted now...

This:

So Trump is basically saying:

1) Obama is the sun god of our age
2) Trump is temporarily eclipsing Obama, but will soon be gone and the sun restored
3) Trump has cast a shadow over America

It's almost as if he can't think anything through, isn't it.

I must admit, Halleyscommet's post was along the lines I was thinking.

Today Trump basically trashed the entire GOP leadership of congress in a Tweetstorm (after saying "I don't do tweetstorms" on Tuesday).
I wonder if Trump really wants/in his heart, to go rogue...basically leave the GOP and set up his own Political party.

(after saying "I don't do tweetstorms" on Tuesday).

Yeah I found that claim particularily hilarious.

Am I the only one who finds the implications of that image a bit disturbing?

That explains why the Serbs are Orthodox and the Croats Catholic. But the important issue is that they are of different religions, for historical reasons, and this has been the excuse for more than one series of crimes.
Historically, the Serbs and Croats were two Slavic tribes who entered the Balkans after Justinian's time. This actually bears no relation to the current "nationalities", which were defined in the 19th Century, as nationalism caught on in the Balkans, purely on the basis of religion - Orthodox being Serb and Catholic Croat.

Most Croats are actually descended from Hungarians displaced by the Ottomans and planted by the Hapsburgs in military colonies along their southern border. Which is more than enough digression ...

I think this example serves to point up how artifical and facile nationalism is. Balkan history illustrates how dangerous and destructive it is.

Not a Party but a Movement. That's what Trump sees at his rallies and believes exists everywhere, unreported, of course.

Nothing less than a Movement is worthy of Trump.

President Trump will take credit for anything "good" that happens regardless of whether or not he had anything to do with it.

President Trump will dodge the blame for anything bad that happens, no matter how responsible for it he is.

Sometimes he seamlessly goes from the former to the latter if he realises that the thing he thought was good, turned out to be bad.

As much as I despise Trump, he is not behaving much different then most politicians here.
