That might be the wierdest aspect of this. Any other First Lady would have had a private word with her husband, and the offensive staffer would have been quietly moved to another job with an official statement of gratitude for her great service. This is hard to understand.

This is kind of the new play for the righties. They want, no NEED to think that the left is "just as bad" as they are so they have to manufacture this faux outrage. Look at the butt hurt over the spray painting in the Carlson thread. Despite it being condemned by everyone, including the other people there, it's been labeled as coming from "the left" instead of one jackass.

TBD couldn't have come up with anything worse to say about Stormy. Now that a little bit of shade has been thrown at the Orange Menace's wife it's all pearl clutches and shock! WHY I NEVAH!

Given it's a continuation, to be fair, it's the same thread. Also, it's pretty funny that he'd quote my terrible, mean comment and thus open Melania up for additional analysis, rather than just let it go and be lost in the shadows of time.

As for how accurate my terrible comment was, well, it's obviously 100%. She sold her body (and the more dramatic may say her soul) to an evil old whoremonger who sexually objectifies or criticizes all women, even his own flesh and blood. Her immigration status has been called into question in multiple ways that have so far gone unaddressed, and even if her immigration was all above board she'd still be an immigrant.

I have no issue with sex workers (though the business in general is hugely problematic), but Melania's version is pretty gross and she's proven herself to be a disgusting human being, so I wouldn't want to associate her with hard-working hookers and honorable prostitutes. Melania is a whore.

But people need to show their lack of approval or else it's not good enough. There is a need that ALL of the left be held responsible for anything and everything that the right does not approve of and this reflects that. TBD NEEDS people to condemn what you said, or else all of the left is just as bad as they are.

It's technically accurate to call her a whore in this circumstance, but I won't deny the negative atmosphere around the word. By definition it's someone that performs sexual acts for money, which Melania has done, on camera (posing nude, rubbing another woman). It's well documented, probably to the delight of many teenage Americans, that this has happened.

Again, this is just TBD's standard pearl clutching while completely missing out on his own blatant hypocrisy.

Look at the Stormy thread and see the terrible things he's said about Stormy. All of a sudden that changes here.

Well, to nitpick....

I think the definition of whore/prostitute/hooker/etc. is that they have sex with the person who pays them, specifically for the sexual gratification of the client. Melania would have been paid by a non-participant in the sexual act, who was photographing it as part of a business transaction. Melania was more of a porn actress in that circumstance.

What many think makes her a whore is her status as a gold-digger/trophy wife.... she was an attractive woman who married a wealthy person who was not attractive. Granted, maybe she has a sexual fetish for mushrooms and orangutans. But since that is a pretty rare fetish, the most likely reason she got married (and had sex with Trump at least once) is because he provided material benefit to her.

My recollection is that TBD referred to Avenatti as a whore in that thread.

Only a stupid **** would think that it is less misogynistic when you restrict the use of misogynistic labels to men. So, TBD must be referring to something else that is bothering him.

No rationalization necessary. They can chose to believe that the troops will take care of everything. There was a crisis, the president responded, and the crisis was averted.
