Rather than bury several lists of names in several threads that are already pages long, I decided to make a new thread just for lists and corrections to said lists. If you have something going on at TAM4 and need to list the names to confirm/amend it, then this is the place.

(Besides, I need the extra posts to try to get to 2,500 by TAM4..)

TAM4 Attendees list

Ok, we are three weeks out and here is the attendees list to the best of my knowledge. There may be a couple dropouts and maybe a couple drop-ins, but this is what I got.

As always, I’ve organized it my way, if you don’t like the way I have it, you can complain to the Claus Larsen and present him with the evidence…

The Known Quantities: These are folks I’ve either had the pleasure of meeting in-person or have read their posts so long and so well that I feel that I do know them. And I think for most on this list, they will recognize everyone on it by JREF name if not by face.

Ah, that’s who you are: Folks I simply don’t know as well and have not interacted with as much, but they have been around the boards and more than a few in the above list know them—but hey, It’s my bloody list, I get to make the rules…and I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you—so next year you can be certified FOH (Friend of Hutch)

I can volunteer as a driver but I'm not planning to rent a car so I guess that's a problem. :boggled: But if anyone gets tired of driving I can spell them.

I thought I asked to be in the poker tourny. Perhaps I am mistaken.

Hutch, have ye the power to amend the list to include me?

Wow. That list is huge.

And when all of you are giving your tickets at the door, you should ask yourself:

Who is that handsome, almost god-like man with the strange titanium glow taking my ticket?

I'm getting in (assuming that I go), at 20h51 Air Canada flt AC546 on Wednesday

Hutch, could you add the date/time to each of the activity lists you post?

Also, why not include the latest schedule in here?

~~ Paul

Per Paul's request, here is the Forum activities as I know them, along with POC's and threads to check out.

Wednesday, 27 January

Nothing planned but suggest those who have arrived meet near the registration desk about 6PM and we can discuss possible options, such as:
--Dinner (Stardust buffet?)
--Stratosphere Tower
--Fremont Street Experience
--Other suggestions?

Thursday, 26 January

Dinner is planned for the Peppermill from approximately 6:30-8:30pm. Information and Menu can be found at this website: http://www.usmenuguide.com/peppermill.html At this time no one is handling contacting them or reservations--any volunteers? They also have a Lounge area, so the 'singles happy hour' proposed by Ethical Heretic in an earlier thread might be held concurrent with dinner? Need POC to interface with restaurant. (New time)

The JREF Forum No-Limit Hold'em Skeptics Tournament--At the Stardust Card Room in the Casino--8:00-10:00pm. Limited to approximately 20 players. Point of Contact--AntiqueHunter--info on this thread: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44228 (New time)

The 1st Annual Forum Pub Crawl (winner is last person able to crawl back to their room without assistance)--Beginning late at night and ending at the Breakfast Buffet Friday morning (please mention to Linda to have extra coffee on-hand). Points of Contact--King Merv and Exarch--see this thread: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42817

Friday, 27 January

Dinner--Lotus of Siam (for those willing to risk it): Point of Contact-well, in the past it has been renata, but maybe not this year. I've nominated CF Larsen to run it, we'll see. Information can be found here: http://www.usmenuguide.com/lotusofsiam.html

The Skepchicks Pajama Party--location and details for this activity is probably the most closely guarded secret in TAM preparation. For ladies only (no fair dressing up, Scrut). Point of Contact is Chanileslie in this thread: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48779

The 1st Annual JREF Forum "Geeks-r-us" Role-playing Game Get-together. For those who are of a mind to do things like this. Point of Contact is Nyarlathotep and this thread: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49250

Saturday, 28 January

Forum Party/Chocolate Challenge--probably in the Administrative Room and various other parts of the hotel. Bring good humor and local chocolate with you if you wish to compete. Point of contact is Girl6 for the party--again, a lot of new folks haven't met her-but don't worry, most anybody who has been to TAM before can help you on that. Here's the thread: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49139

NOTE--Ignore the thread derailments and the information is there.

Chaos is in charge of the Chocolate Challenge and his thread on that is here: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47152

Pre-party activities--Open, can include visiting other Casinos/attractions in Las Vegas (BA, would this be a good time for the Star Trek experience?).

Sunday, 29 January

Red Rocks Guided Tour--Part of TAM4 and limited availablity--1-5PM

For the rest, Afternoon is free to see Vegas.

Dinner--Peppermill restaurant across the Street from Stardust. I know many folks will have already hit the road, but for those remaining, a final chance to get together. Point of Contact--none at the moment.

Monday, 30 January

Hoover Dam and Red Rocks/other--depending on how many went to Red Rocks on Sunday. Amenable to changes. Right now we have two drivers, so seating is limited. Point of contact is Hutch and the thread is right here: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42574

Monday Evening is open for suggestions and getting folks to the airport.

The follower JREF Forumites have shown an interest in going on the Red Rocks tour on Sunday afternoon, 1-5 pm.

Note, if you haven't confirmed with Kitten yet (from her earlier posting):

Hey Everyone...

I've PMed some of you, but space in Red Rocks is filling up at a steady rate, so if you want to go, be sure to PM or email me (Evelyn@randi.org) with a name of some sort in addition to replying to this thread. Preferably, I'd like your real name, but I'm not super picky...

or via www.tam4.com/redrocks.html, you may not be on their list, even if you are on mine!!!
