That semiautomatic must be pretty new. I looked for it on the internet, and came up only with a replica Flint lock that Flynn sold earlier, and a wonderfully over-the-top website whose front page (I didn't go deeper) included hurtpuppy conspiracy crap and an appeal to help whatsisname the pillow fighter. I was hoping to find a review of it, just curious as to whether an actual gun enthusiast of the sort who actually shoots the things would find it a wise purchase.

Otherwise, the "Flynn Lock" link leads one to a furry site, a sports betting algorithm of some sort, and a gay poster on Tumblr.

e.t.a. Flynnlock.com leads you it. It's pretty clearly an offshoot of Patriot Manufacturing of Greenville, SC, which also sells clothing and merchandise, and lots of AR-15 parts for people who like to build their own and who presumably can tell the difference between one and another. Finding out about them is hard because other entirely different companies share their name, but they are at patriot2a.com. There seem to be a number of signature editions of AR-15 style rifles, presumably giving signed ones some special cachet that plain ones don't.

Something I have seen locally to me. We have an election for minor stuff (judges, town council, etc.) coming up on Tuesday and I've seen a few ads on various streaming services.

I've seen no ads for Democrats. But what I have seen are ads for "Conservatives". Not Republicans, but rather "Conservatives". The ads I've seen are for judicial candidates. The word Republican never appears on the ads.

Think maybe some party's name is a bit toxic right now?

I skimmed past some presentation of a gold plated AR from one muckety-muck to another yesterday (NRA related perhaps).
The thing had... T's signature; the raised fist and "fight, fight, fight" etched on it.
Ok... tacky but ok.

But it also had the presidential seal engraved.
I thought that was a major no-no. 🤔

Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) compared the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas to the end of World War II while on Fox News Thursday, arguing that the nuclear bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki resulted in an “unconditional surrender” and that the “same” needs to happen with Gaza.

During an appearance on Fox & Friends First, Fine said, “In World War II, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Nazis, we didn’t negotiate a surrender with the Japanese. We nuked the Japanese twice in order to get unconditional surrender. That needs to be the same here.”

I think it speaks to the importance of the only end of the conflict is complete and total surrender by those who support Muslim terror. In World War II, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Nazis, we didn’t negotiate a surrender with Japanese. We nuked the Japanese twice in order to get unconditional surrender. That needs to be the same here. There is something deeply, deeply wrong with this culture, and it needs to be defeated.
