But Ted Kennedy is very low on the "elite" totem pole. These people are seen as being not much less expendable than the average person by the super elite. You rarely hear of the true elite getting cancer, and if they do they are able to properly treat it with treatments not allowed to the general public. Don't expect to hear about any of the Rockefellers getting cancer anytime soon.

This also plays into their right wing Christian extremist thinking. As Christians they should be praying for Kennedy to be well, yet they are hoping he dies. It's religious hypocrisy as well.

I actually thought one poster seemed to show a bit of common sense and empathy with his entry:

I have long had my reservations about Teddy's political stands and ideology, and he does have a few skeletons in his closet that have brought a good many comedians some great jokes at the Senator's expense, but at a time like this I would be inclined to put all of that aside and wish the man well, and a speedy, if that is possible, recovery.

Those people are ****ing idiots. ****ing scumbags. I would wish Cancer upon them, except that would be reducing me down to their hatred, idiocy, assholishness...so I wish them peace and harmony.
