Scandinavian culture is definitely superior to American culture when it comes to a metric like homicide rate, no question about it.

Catholic culture is superior to Christian Identity Movement in my opinion and I'd guess many others would hold that opinion as well.

Now, the last one may be a bit tricky and have some definition problems, but there are indexes that rate nations by happiness.

So all cultures that have more poverty, more civil strife and less happiness than Scandinavian are inferior cultures, wouldn't you have to agree?

Rhodesia was the breadbasket of Africa under the British. Under Mugabe, Zimbabwe is wracked with malnutrition and famine. Western culture gets around limitations of resources and environment.

Look at Israel. Sand and rocks with no oil but an economy more vibrant and energetic than anything the Arabs came up with.

Culture matters. Ideas matter.

Look at what the left think. Wealth is an accident. The result of a geographical pot-luck. Since you can't change your geography it must follow that the poor countries can never be rich, since you can't change your geography. Then they tell us that wealth will doom the world. Since billions of people in poor countries are are trying to live a lifestyle like us, it must follow that they be told they can't have it and must stay poor.

But they always tell us how much concern they have for the poor. They buy fair trade coffee. But the left are really just spoilt, rich enemies of the poor.
