Honestly, I don't think Rudy is going to win the GOP nomination. I personally am a fan of McCain, Thompson, and Huckabee, and would like one of those three win it. Who i'll vote for? That won't be seen by me until the field thins more.

Rudy has too many skeletons in his closet, Romney seems like he doesn't know what he believes in, never really liked Paul, and Hunter i'm actually supised hasn't dropped out yet.

Why is seeming like he 'knows what he believes in' a factor to judge a candidate by?

Doesn't this 'flop flop' charge have the potential to weed out any candidate who changes his mind on a topic, a sign of someone who thinks and is capable of changing one's beliefs in response to evidence or good arguement?
 
The best thing he did was give in to public pressure when he tried to cut the police department that Dinkins helped grow. Rudy and NY owe Dinkins everything.

I'm supposed to thank him for the increasing crime rate? Helping to drive out business? Twiddling his thumbs as property values decreased?

For blowing tax payer dollars on a sporting complex only meant to cater to the rich and elite (Arthur Ashe Stadium)?

There is a lot I disagree with Rudy on. His hard on for an Upper West Side stadium. His short changing first responders when it came to the budgets. His countinuing the short changing of first responders and teachers (just like Dinkins), his ego trips, and closing off the front of City Hall to protesters.

But don't for one second actually think that people who lived in this City back then (and still do) would have Dinkins back. The mess he left the City in, when Rudy came in and did a hell of a job cleaning up (much of the credit goes to the police, sanitation and parks departments as well), almost broke us.

Don't get me wrong. Rudy is nuts. He's good when butt needs kicking, but his ego gets in the way. I don't think hell make a good president (I'd rather see him as Attorney General).

Could Mayor Mike become President Mike?
