Compared to some who have posted here, lauras' spelling is pretty stellar! Nothing to do with IQ at all, just cultural values about spelling that some have been stricken with, myself included sorry to say. Read some 18th century stuff, and it will clearly be seen that many didn't much care about spelling.

Constructive criticism:

Unfair as it may seem, to quote a poster on another board, "not even Einstein would have been taken seriously if he had proposed Teh Th30ry of R31a+ivi+y".

Typos and common misspellings are one thing (or maybe two things) but taking the time to observe the conventions of written English shows a baseline of respect for those who have to read your posts.

If you're not willing to take the time and effort to do even that, it rings a bit hollow to complain about others not respecting you in return.
