The Professor - Still At It...

I cannot read the posts at SCEPCOP for more than two minutes before feeling sick, let alone sign up and try to bring rationality to their forum. That video from the TAM meeting just proves it, those people are wack jobs.

There is no way to bring rationality to their forum. After all, it's based on the notion that paranormal events are real!

There are a couple of people over there who are at least making a genuine effort to maintain a civil discourse. But they're being drowned out by posters whose rantings range from irrelevant to hateful to just plain crazy. I see this as a good thing. The best way to show how faulty their premise is for the forum is to have trolls like Dave Koenig (aka "The Professor") take it over. My supernatural prediction is that the forum will self destruct before too long.

Unfortunately some members wish to get us up to date with his dribble.

My thoughts are let the cretin have the obscurity he so richly deserves.

Let's end this thread.
 
What's really messed up is that if Slim was in the same boat many of us would have wished him a speedy recovery. I don't want anyone to suffer, just to shut up.

If anyone writes anything like that here I would probably report it and expect to see the result in public notices. However I expect over there it will pass without adverse comment by the mods.

I only keep you posted on his comments in regard to Randi or the JREF, which very often fall into libel territory.

No one on the JREF wants to sue anyone. When someone gets into libel territory they simply get their butt tossed out of the forum. It was informative that you posted his anti-JREF website. Informative (and a little scary) that some people have the energy to disparage other people doing god's work. Having said that I believe the professor (has ever a pseudonym been more opposite the person? (wait - mine is ;) )) enjoys any attention he receives from this site. I think he should be denied attention -- not because I believe foolish people shouldn't be able to get attention on the internet -- but I believe this particular individual is mean-spirited and ignoring his mean-spirited efforts is an effective way of checkmating his ugly form of woo.
