How boring.Ahh, American politicians can be so funny.. Ours just do politics and stuff.
But then, we have to have somebody to do stupid stuff. We don't have royalty.

Does Texas have recall capabilities? When is the next gubernatorial election? What I'm wondering/hoping was if Perry's candidacy is so embarassing that we can finally dump him as governer of Texas.
I agree. I'm no admirer of Bush the Lesser, but some of the clowns in the race this time around make him look statesmanlike by comparison.

He's aw-shucksing his dumbness and now inviting people to go to his website to enter their own suggestion as to which department he could've or should've listed at "number three".
If there are three things Rick Perry doesn't need any more of it's commerce and education.
Dontcha love the quote from Cain in that article in the OP... Oh, I don't know - - - the American public are very forgiving.
Yeah, ya hope so. Riiiight, Herman.
Those of you pulling for Huntsman... just wait eight weeks or so. Perry's in free fall with Cain in dive-bomb mode to see if he can beat him to the bottom of the heap. Newt gets to be the new contender for a couple of weeks, then Ron Paul, ... by Christmas Huntsman ought to get his turn.
A note to Rick's supporters: When Ron Paul looks at you like you're crazy, there's no where left to go. Pack the bags.
Frankly, I don't think Perry ever was a viable candidate for a national election. He enjoyed a brief bump in the polls for being "someone else", and that's about it. I think his role in the execution of a man for a capital crime that never happened (the fire was not arson) is enough to give him no end of troubles on the national stage. (It's a bit alarming that there are parts of the country where this is not considered a problem.)
We should remember Perry was recruited by the Jews to stop Romney. Once Perry announced, he went to New York where the Jews (including Israelis) loaded him up with money. When they saw his performance in the debates they realized he was a mistake. Now their hopes are on Newt.

Oh and then blamed the joos
Who in their right mind thinks it's doing something effective?

I think the idea is that another department (like Interior) could take over their essential responsibilities. And technically, that is true, though the changeover would be difficult and time-consuming. The presumption is that there are tasks done by Energy that are duplicated in other departments, and maybe there are some.Seriously, who in their right mind wants to do away with the Department of Energy?
