I could barely believe that someone actually typed the words The Palin Doctrine. I mean, really. But then I saw it was the New York Sun, and the opinion writer is an unabashed Palin groupie (publisher of a website JewsForSarah.com).

And with my new-found reassurance that the earth's polarity hasn't shifted overnight, I go about my Sunday.

I thought The Sun went under. Looks like they can still afford to keep a website going. They're the paper that called for Cheney to run for pres to replace Bush.

I see that the author of that particular piece, the Palin groupie, uses as a basis for comparison for her sagacity the exposed con man Ahmed Chalabi. He may as well proclaim the worthiness of an investment advisor by noting his similarities to Bernie Madoff.

"Act more decisively". What those acts might be was not detailed.

No, it wasn't detailed in your misrepresentation. Let's pull the entire paragraph from your linky shall we?
On Libya she said "It would have been different." Remarking that the U.S. has a tradition of not criticizing the president's foreign policy on "foreign soil," she continued, "Certainly, there would have been more decisiveness, more commitment to those that are freedom fighters, that they know that America is on their side.
You are only repeating the misrepresentation provided by your sources (CNN) and their bias of course. Your linky does not state the specific actions.

So let's dig a bit deeper shall we? Uhh...well...if "deeper" means actually looking at the Sun article. Then we find...
The former GOP vice presidential candidate was being interviewed on February 23rd on national television by Sean Hannity on a range of issues. On the Libya crisis, she proposed a no-fly zone to protect the armed and un-armed opposition to the Qaddafi regime.

H'm. Apparently Obama is following the Palin doctrine in Libya. Strange, she being such a moron and him such a genius.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day? :p Then again, I don't really think the US should be involved, to be honest. Or at least not to the extent that it is, I'm more than happy to let the US provide some support while Europe does some world policing for a change.

:)

Or she could have just stated the OBVIOUS and he uhh....

voted PRESENT...

I could barely believe that someone actually typed the words The Palin Doctrine.....

You mean the policy that Obaby has picked up and followed, right? That she said should be done a couple weeks ago before countless thousands of people were slaughtered?

I'd say it's a term she earned and should be given some respect for.

Wait....the loathing and hate of radical left would never allow that...

No, Obama is following the policy suggested by the Arab League and voted on by the UN, following the urging of the Libyan Ambassador for a no-fly zone long before Palin went on Hannity.

Nobody is paying any attention to Palin.

I'd say it's a term she earned and should be given some respect for.

For being a pundit best known for being a failed VP candidate and quitting her term as governor halfway through, making statements that actual policymakers and Libyan officials are paying no attention to on a show that actual policymakers and Libyan officials don't care one whit about?

Man, I don't know you from Adam, but this is the second time you posted the President's name as "Obaby", and I had to think for a second about who you meant.

It's just childish.

It's hilarious that the suggestion has been fluffed up into a "doctrine"... makes it sound as if she's worldly and politically sophisticated.

She is neither of those things.

The thing is, The Palin Doctrine :D is quite simple at the core. (Like Palin!) It can be summed up in one little sentence fragment: whatever Obama isn't doing.

I sympathize with naive observers such as yourself who are unaware that for Obama to follow The Palin Doctrine is actually a metaphysical impossibility.

Well calling him "Osama" isn't in favor any more. I mean, what do you expect him to do? Refer to the president by his actual name? That's for people who act mature, and other types of nerds.
