My point is that it's easier to mobilise a smaller, more concentrated population.

In 2003 750 million people in the uk marched against the iraq war. That's 1.5 % of the population. Would be interested to know what the figures are for the protest in america at the same time.

While 750 million may be 1.5% of the world's population, it is also more than 10 times their current population. I'd be surprised if the UK could support that amount of people. Plus his figure goes against his idea of a smaller population.

For some reason on GLP (godlikeproductions.com) moran is the preferred spelling. Everybody (most everybody anyway) knows it isn't the right spelling but they'll insult you if you use the correct one. Not sure why.
