The most stupid 911 Conspiracy Theory to date

The image is either true or not true.Which is it?

Dafydd.

I will have to disagree.

The image could be true, or it could be a hoax.

But what I am going after is the claim that the person in the image is UBL.

That is eithe true or false.

Now if the image is authentic, it shows one man in what appears to be a pakistani uniform. But since it is an older picture, I can't be certain. I have a feeling the image is authentic.

it is just the description of who is in it that I feel is a lie.

unfortunately Profanz can't come to admit that another "truther" is wrong. Like normal truthers, giving a free pass to any wacky and zany nut job who shares his delusions of adequacy

I found a more informative description of one photo from this series:

Zbigniew Brzezinksi Inspecting Gun
Original caption: Kyber Pass, Pakistan: United States Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski looks into Afghanistan through the sights of a machine gun at a Pakistan Army outpost here on the border 2/3. Brzezinski toured the area and then continued talks with the Pakistan delegation in regards to an aid package.

One of the stupidest I've come across is that Barry Jennings (RIP) was murdered for talking about the explosions he heard......7 years later, and after already speaking on record.

The 'damage' was already done, so if 'they' wanted to silence him, maybe they waited just a little too long....

Some of the more asinine ideas involve various no planes theories, in my book. They're just so horribly stupid, it saddens me to know that people actually believe them.

Having got a date for the photo, I checked the archives for matching press stories. This seems to be the story of the event, from the Washington Post (sorry, no link, it doesn't seem to be online):

President Carter's national security adviser peered resolutely with gun in hand at Soviet controlled Afghanistan from the top of a Pakistani military outpost high above the strategic Khyber Pass.

It looked like a scene from a late-night Grade B television movie called "Zbig at the Khyber Pass" as Zbigneiw Brzezinski, high White House aide, hesitated for a second and then declined an offer to fire the Chinese-made light machine gun toward Afghanistan. Instead he invited the Pakistani soldier at the gunpoint to shoot the weapon.

The soldier got off one shot and the gun jammed.

After clearing it, he squeezed off a fast round. But the recoil knocked the soldier back into Brzezinski and the gun started spraying bullets wildly out the gunport.

"Thank God the Russians haven't started firing back," said a Pakistani officer accompanying the Brezezinski tour.

I see your point.

Why all the talk about who owns Al Jazera when there was a separate book about KSM's confession?

That seems to make that point, even if it were true and even if it were relevant if true, moot. I mean how would the ownership of Al Jazerra matter about the reporting it does?

Does the CIA supply those uniforms or is it just another coincidence that they all go for the same look?

Yep, apart from the shirt/jumper and beret instead of a tunic and peaked cap they're exactly the same.

Maybe it's just the beards?

For laughs I was going to watch The Three Stooges, but I found them here.
