The most hilarious 9/11 truth moments

qarnos' post reminded me of a couple of the great web fiascos...

The CIT posting under one password from different sides of the USA on the same weekend and getting summarily banned.

The classic, though, is from the episode entitled, "Your password isn't actually "password", is it?

An oldie, but a goody:

In 2006, DJLegacy of the old-old-Loose Change Forums gloated about how Gravy was too scared to debate him (skip to post 181 if you're short of time).

Unfortunately, when Gravy agreed to debate him, DJLegacy's "cousin" (using DJ's account) informed us that li'l ol' DJ was unable to participate since he had to help a friend (post 7):

Thanks qarnos for pointing out that little nugget. Just hilarious. The very last comment on that thread, written by Undesired Walrus, says-

"14 months since DJ popped out to help his friend, do you think we should phone the police?"

I needed a good laugh to get myself going this morning, I now have it.:D

2. Spooked911's "rabbit cage experiment"

Edit: Dangit! Brainster beat me to the rabbit cage fiasco!

He beat me, too, but here's the blogilicious evidence!

Here's the *start* to one of his "experiments", this one using coat hangers as a substitute for the WTC;

And of course here are his "technical diagrams" (which is what he called them) for what SHOULD have happened at Shanksville:

Beautiful.

That Alex Jones diatribe was really something else. "He's an enemy of the republic!" It truly amazes me that there are people who listen to that show and take what he says seriously. Truthers, honestly, he's a lunatic.

My number 1 moment is Kevin Barrett getting shouted down while trying to interrupt someone speaking about the Virginia Tech shootings. I really like watching him fail miserably to get his point across, and then fail again at re-gaining the crowd, and then finally skulking off in "triumph." Can't wait to see how he does in his run for Congress!

The speaker was David Horowitz, it was at the University of Wisconsin and the talk was about islamo-fascism.

Richard Gage trying to compare cardboard to structural steel, OMG what an idiot.

You forgot "Dr." Jones trying to melt steel with a cigarette lighter.

Beautiful.

Do these people get their physics lessons from Tom & Jerry cartoons?

My fave goes back to Korey Rowe getting arrested for desertion, with Truthers chiming in threads here in the Forum about how dare the evil JREFers criticise him. Rev91 took issue with Unsecured Coins. UC riposted with a post of his ride to work - an M1, UC sitting on it - and hey presto! Rev91 never came back.

Ray Rivera accused of being a Mossad agent.

(Sorry, I am still a newbie...so when can I start posting links again?)

Don't forget the comatose look on Dylan's face when he was on Hardfire with Mark and also the look of stupidity on his face when the BBC explained what a simile is.

Someone might want to compile most of these snips (the ones that can be found on video) sort of like "9/11 deniers speak" but it can be named 9/11 deniers most shining moments.

ETA - forgot to bring up his "angry white boy" f-bombs on the latest BBC show...

Ace Baker getting pwned (I think that is how my students spell it) by Steve Wright.

Baker: Actually, that is a kerosene explosion which has almost no destructive power.

Wright: Well that is the statement of a musician, okay? And not a finite element analyst, a mathematician, or someone fooling with explosives.

What about Jason "Cletus the slack-jawed yokel" Bermas accusing Abby of using a jedi mind trick on him. Think that qualifies as on of the truth movements more illustrious moments?

A Jedi mind trick.:D I can see it now...

Skeptic-You don't need to see his identification.....

Truther-We don't need to see his identification.

Skeptic-These aren't the droids you're looking for.....

Truther-These aren't the droids we're looking for.

Etc, etc, etc....

How about Dylan thinking that an Albany 9/11 exhibit contained photos of the actual WTC black boxes, that the government claims don't exist. Of course, those photos were actually info posters that were at ground zero helping rescue workers identify the black boxes, should they come across them.

Can you imagine, one single Albany exhibit almost blew the entire official story wide open :D

I could find links to the story anymore. Maybe they have been removed.

When an engineer went on to the screwloosechange forum and posted equations of building collapses confirming that 9/11 was an inside job, getting Pd'oh to literally wet his pants and go nuts that they've found a real engineer that believes them, only for that particular engineer to come out and say that he was just joking all along. Does anyone have a link for that?

I think this is pretty hilarious, personally. They are frantically running around looking for architects and engineers just as Jamieson and his crew are running around trying to collect signatures.

To be honest, I think Gage's group may get the number that they need for two reasons: 1) They will not be forthcoming about the true intention of their group. (i.e. "Building 7 fell and there was not a comprehensive study released about it...sign here if you think there should." vs. "We think the government brought down the buildings.) and 2) Edmund Standing's "pulled' video revealed that these groups pretty much accept anyone without verification. Which can lead us to not only question the credentials of some of the members in the "9/11 Professionals" group, but even their existence.
