Nah, that drawing keeps popping up here and there for quite a while, albeit with different labels and completely different stories underneath.
 
That diagram is an image of, nearly, 90 degree phase shifts - basically, it's a diagram I've drawn a number of times to explain how QAM channeling is done in cable radio frequency communication systems (because a lot of folks scratch their head when you say that two frequencies are sent at 90 degrees of each other) - so all I see in that thing is a representation of distinct transmissions (of varying amplitudes and frequencies) being bundled into one channel.

So it's like someone showing an RPM graph to a car mechanic and saying that it indicates something metaphysical about reality.
