I saw this earlier on Twitter:

A liar, an adulterer and a fascist walk into a bar. The bartender says, “What’ll you have, Mr. Gingrich?”

This pretty much describes the Newt. He's one of the major forces behind the decades long radicalization of the GOP. But what can you expect from someone who would be decrying Bill Clinton's unsavory behavior with Lewinski while at the same time having an affair himself?

I did get a chuckle out of that joke. :D

I've had some affairs in my youth. But I wouldn't consider them on the same level as getting sucked off in the oval office restroom by my young intern. I mean, I think you expect a little more from the President.

I guess Clinton is better because he is only deemed two out of the three, in certain crowds?

You think him having an affair is the same as the Prez busting nuts on his young intern, while basically in the oval office? I don't.

Not to mention, rightfully getting impeached and disbarred...

Much like... Biden - 1 woman with rather questionable trustworthiness accuses him of sexual misconduct. Gets massive attention from media.
Trump - Dozens of women of varying trustworthiness accuse him of sexual misconduct and he himself has repeatedly made it perfectly clear that he engages in sexual misconduct without shame. Cursory attention from media - it's not really either a surprise or particularly controversial, after all.

Biden touches a woman's hair and he's 'sick' or hugs a little girl and he's a pedophile. Trump brags about grabbing women's genitals, is accused of rape by a credible woman, and has over 20 women accuse him of varying degrees of sexual assault or inappropriateness and he gets elected president. Now we know why he didn't run as a Democrat.

It basically has to do with the way the Women in each party see themselves, Republicans have a more biblical view of Woman hood, while Liberal Women are more Liberated free and somewhat wild.
You can see this in who supported the ERA.

Quite frankly, I do not see what the big deal was about Bill Clinton have sort-of-sex with Monica Lewinsky. After all, I have know literally dozens of married men who have cheated on their wives.

As far as I am concerned, that topic should have been hashed out by exactly three people: Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.

It definitely was not worth turning the nation upside-down and tens of millions of dollars (probably more like hundreds of millions of dollars) in order for those stupid, idiotic, lying Republicans with an easy anti-Clinton political issue that they could use in the upcoming mid-term elections.

Because it was an employer/employee thing too. That complicates everything. But even that wasn't the real issue.

Except that it also became a topic in a civil suit, and Clinton lied under oath about it. And it's the lying under oath that made it more than a private civil affair. You're familiar with the phrase, it's not the crime, it's the cover-up? Clinton/Lewinsky was a textbook example. Clinton really has no one to blame but himself for that.
