On the contrary, I have chosen God's truth over demons lies. And believe me when God woke me up it wasn't pretty. I had to learn fast to test those spirits because I was listening to them a very long time. Astrology, Phsycics, Numerology, and yes phsyco babble too! All New Age Beliefs.

But don't you see? We reject all those things too!

Astrology - useless, doesn't predict squat
Psychics (I assume you mean "psychics" and not "physics") - also useless
Numerology - the ramblings of diseased minds
Psychobabble - depends on what you mean, if it's true psychobabble then it's useless

Have you ever tried looking at science?
Physics, chemistry, geology, anthropology, things like that?

You seem to be hopping from one unverifiable belief system to another without even considering the verifiable one. Maybe that's not important to you. But until you open your mind and see the potential that science has, with its real predicting power as opposed to the vague predictions that spiritual belief systems have ("wars and rumors of wars"? When in the history of civilization has that not been true?), you will remain blind in at least one eye.

And no demons were involved in providing scientific data. Just good ol' human eyes. The cool part is that there's nothing elitist about scientific data; anyone can collect it themselves.

But it's not suppose to be about being religious? It's all about having a relationship with the Father, through recieving his gift of salvation on the cross. Jesus is the light of the world!
Why would anyone want to miss out on heaven and live in darkness? By grace we are saved. BELIEVE!

And you believe this why, exactly? You read it somewhere? Somebody told you it was so? God/Jesus spoke to you personally? Suppose you grew up alone on a desert island, would have come to these same conclusions? If so, why doesn't the other 2/3 of the world come to this same conclusion?

Are you saying chemical imbalances don't exist? What was your diagnosis? Your actions seem very much in line with a manic episode. Have you consulted your doctor about going off meds?

Absolutely not. I know people have all kinds of different things going on in their lives. We are mind, body, and soul. I'm saying each of us has to trust and give God controll of our lives.
Nothin manic about that. I tried to do it without him and ended up on medication for depression and accute pain. And yes I have 2 doctors that know I am off my perscribed meds. I really don't need them anymore.
I am at peace and very much in tune with reality. Never felt more alive as a matter a fact.

What is your philosophy on life? if you don't mind me asking??

We can't earn our way there. It's by God's grace alone. I'm not going to argue with him about that one. I just try to stay open and pray that he will save others. I really hate the idea of anyone going to eternal damnation myself. And yet when I was saved I really felt I was faced with going before him and him having to say to me,"depart from me I never new you." It still makes me cry.

Ah, I see. So you're... just obeying orders. Because the fear of being tortured for eternity is stronger than any moral outrage you may have. Well, that's understandable, I guess. Unless they've lived through it, none of us can say for sure what they'd do in, e.g., Nazi-occupied Europe. So yeah, I can see why you wouldn't want to question your omnipotent yet capricious tyrant.

But even in the worst case, I hope I'd never turn my fear into pretensions of morality.

You didn't tell me what the diagnosis was to warrant the anti depressant.

Why do you care what my philosophy on life is? You've already condemned me to hell. Or are you trying to convert me?

Well I definately believe the Bible is true. But my own personal experience is that he has revealed himself to me. I always belived he was the son of God. Even when I was little I felt he was there. Don't ask me why? I always felt God was love and he is real. I always cared about loving others and I believe that came from him. A real childlike faith I guess.

Whatever her answer I wouldn't take the word of someone who went off anti-depressants and found God immediately.

This person is probably rather disturbed, and is showing all the classic symptoms of a manic episode.

I'm saying I do not have a chemical dependancy or imbalance.

After back surgery I went on med for pain and depression. The depression is a diagnosis onset by pain with my back problems.

Trapping people?! you *are* going to hell

Yeah, I just wonder if any neurons will fire about anything. People that go off their meds and find God usually aren't worried about such trivialities as logic, or their own hypocracy

Don't you get it. Jesus was the only man who ever lived that was holy. The sacrifice he made on the cross was the only one acceptable to God to make atonement for the sins of all mankind.
He is hoping all come to repent and accept what he did on the cross. It definately is a one on one with God when we reach this level of acceptance. We are all sinners save by grace. It seems pretty simple to understand and believe to me.
