I'm going to be following this with no small measure of amusement. I wonder what kind of nuts will be shaken out of this tree, metaphorically speaking.
 
I think the movie was funded, some portion of it anyway, by a grant from the BBC. It's by Minnow Films, and it is called Shooting Bigfoot. There is no dead bigfoot at the end. There is a creature that attacks the director ( I was not at the screening, this all from multiple reports of those that did see the film last week), but it's unclear as to whether it is a person in a suit or CGI. Rather lame way to end a "documentary" if you ask me. But there is nothing that substantiates the Dyer claim at all. Surprise, surprise. But his camp is cranking out excuses faster than Boyardee makes ravioli. Now the big reveal date is August 15th. That is when he will show the world his Bigfoot body. ( So much for his "Prepare to Believe. 04.30.13" campaign)

It's all terribly entertaining. I am loving every minute of it. I got booted of his team forum ( Bigfootwarz) in what might quite possibly be record time. I think I lasted 3 comments over two hours. They don't like it when you call Dyer a lying, pregnant woman beating douchebag for some reason. Dyer has pulled out of the BF community according to a video blog post by him. He is closing ranks and will only talk with his suckers, er, I mean paid Team Tracker members. If anything could serve as a gullibility certification then a Team Tracker Platinum Membership card must surely be the finest example.

I wonder if the back of those platinum cards read, in small print, "Certified bilkable".
 
My understanding is that the film was supposed to be a mockmumentary, poking fun at "Finding Bigfoot".
 
I summoned all my resolve and looked at Robert Lindsay's blog. If you go back into March and read all you can stand it is indeed comedy. My favorite is that the dead bigfoot is named Hank and someone named Musky Allen figures into it as a witness to the dead bigfoot body. The level of denial about Rick Dyer with those that comment is palpable although the number of commentors appears diminished compared with the days of Richard Stubstad, Melba, et al. If you just sit back and think that these folks are adults, it becomes just that much more amazing.

1. Rick describes describes the Bigfoot as 8 ft 8 inches tall and over 800 pounds.

2. The nose has two slits on it on the bridge area.

3. The pores all over the body under the hair are large and
can be seen.

4. The hair as super thick, matted and hard to pull.

5. The Bigfoot has a double row of teeth.

6. The male Bigfoot genitalia as having a pocket that the genitalia will retract into when not in use.

7. Scientists and doctors did MRI’s, cat scans and x-rays.

8. The Bigfoot has many double organs. One such double organ is that the creature has two stomachs.

9. The Bigfoot also has new organs never seen before.

10. The drug companies are very interested in the Bigfoot for possible medicine to help certain ailments we humans have.

11. Scientists have named it.

12. Scientists say they DNA is new.

13. After they killed it, they found some things that could lead people to believe it is doing harm to humans and kids. Rick believes it is a monster.

Dyer still rather prolifically posts in his YouTube channel, often in the form of Google Hangouts now. I've peeked at a couple, they always seem to be largely content free but chock full of bragging.
 
Just checked in on Robert Lindsay's blog. I'm not sure if he's gone comepletly round the bend or is just saving face but it is very amusing. He has a few regular posters, some of whom seem to actually believe this is possible while Lindsay himself says he thinks Dyer has a bigfoot body. I read back through some of the older posts and that is comedy on a grand scale. I think I have finally figured out what many here already know and that is debating true bigfoot believers is like debating with new earth creationists. Absolutely pointless.

Just look at how ridiculous each item on the list is. It's obvious he's trying to see just how far he can go:
8'-8" tall and 800 pounds
Nose with slits on the bridge
Huge skin pores that can be seen under "super thick and matted hair". How the hell does that work?
Double row of teeth.
Genitalia sack
MRI, Cat scans, and X-rays. Yeah right.

What a load of crap!

I think he does believe 'footers are clueless idiots and he's a bully who is playing with them by making up things that can't possibly be true, but some will believe, and he'll laugh at them.

I wish they would have filmed when all hell broke loose, now that would have been entertainment to see an overweight "something" getting his rifle wrestled out of hands.
