Soros Conspiracy Theories and The Protests: A Gateway to Antisemitism

As protests – still largely peaceful, but increasingly marked by violent confrontations, looting and vandalism -- continue in response to the murder of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis, right-wing pundits and an ideologically diverse crew of conspiracy theorists have alleged that George Soros has played a role in fomenting the chaos.

Aggressive language towards Soros has exploded on social media sites like Twitter, where a sample assessment showed that negative tweets about Soros rose from 20,000 per day on May 26 to more than 500,000 per day on May 30.

The vast majority of these tweets allege that Soros is paying protestors to riot, and that he funds antifa. A smaller number claim that he plans to radicalize African Americans in order to undermine society and enable the globalist takeover of America, while some go so far as to claim that George Floyd’s death was actually a false flag deployed by Soros in order to precipitate the current crisis.

So is this thread to be about George Soros?

Or is it to be about every insane conspiracy theory ever because nutcases like to claim Soros is behind them all?

My conspiracy theory is that all conspiracies against Soros are created and funded by the Koch brothers. In turn they conspire to do something else that I cant come up with that crazy enough to believe.

Isn't it peculiar that people who have benefited so handsomely from the existing order (such as George Soros and Bill Gates) are always plotting to undermine it? :eusa_think: :rolleyes:

Why anybody even pays attention to George Soros is beyond me. He's a senile old man who probably can't even feed himself anymore. He's irrelevant.

I don't understand is that the ADL is dedicated to fighting antisemitism. People who criticize George Soros because in their befuddled brains they believe he is funding antifa, radicalizing African Americans, undermining society and promoting a globalist agenda are criticizing George Soros. Why would Jews think that somebody who criticizes George Soros because they believe George Soros supports, say, globalism is criticizing them?
 
I got a itching feeling that this was already brought up in this forum about George soros. One person said If george Soros is evil because he is Jewish why not Koch? Another person said on the forum here i believe tell me one thing that george soros has done that is evil without resorting to conspiracies.
