The forgotten Palestinian Refugees

In 2007, one year after the Hamas takeover, the owner of Gaza's only Christian bookstore was abducted and murdered. Christian shops and schools have been firebombed. Little wonder that most of Mr. Khoury's Christian friends have also left Gaza.
Are you not aware that No True Palestinian would be a Christian? :p

We send support, a modest amount, each year to Palestinian Christians who live in the Holy Land. Each year we buy some olive wood carvings (I bought the missus a lovely hand carved candle stick this year) from a small group of Palestinian Christians who come to Texas each year to ask for support and to be remembered. A bit under two percent of Palestinians are Christian. National Geographic had a very well written article a few months back about the slow "cleansing" of Christians from the Middle East.

A few people care, but most don't.

A good friend of mine, who was a christian arab from Israel, died this year. I will think of him and smile and ignore the blatant flamebait.

It's christmas after all. He would have approved.

Wow. I could have sworn people here claim to care about human rights. Ah well.

Yeah, somehow everyone who wants full human rights to be granted to Palestinians had totally forgotten that some Palestinians are Christian. Either that or they didn't see why it was relevant.

Sheesh.

They're human beings whether they're Christian or Muslim. What is your point?
