The completely unscientific JREF exit poll threadâ„¢

Do we know this for certain? They are being quiet about his condition. I've heard that but they said it was a rumor.

Of course we don't. I have a list of sources that mention that but I haven't found time yet to check them by the appropriate internet connection.

His wife accuses his guerillas for poisoning him. An Israeli MP said yesterday that Israel must have poisoned him( ) and the Israeli right says that he is dying of AIDS.

I don't believe Israel would poison him. They have made him pretty much irrelevant. I have heard a lot of the rumors. I think he's just getting old and having some of the common ailments for his age.

It's sad but I would be happy to see him kick the bucket. I think he has been a major road block in the area to peace. His people would be better off with a different leader.

And what makes you think that posters here are representative of the country; liars or not?

;)

Only 25% of the posters here voted for Bush/Cheney. Clearly it is not representative.

I was surprised by the high libertarian vote also.

Did Shanek figure out how to vote multiple times?

Actually, I think there is a much higher percentage of libertarian type thinkers that take part in this forum than in than in the general population. But the number was still significantly higher than I expected.

So which way would those libertarian voters have gone in a two way race.

Was this a protest vote against Bush because the free market libertarians were pissed because Bush is doing nothing to stem the rising tide of federal spending and out of control deficits? But they wouldn't vote for a Democrat under any circumstances?

Was this a protest vote against Bush because of the Iraq war but they wouldn't vote for a democrat under any circumstances?

Was this libertarians that might vote for a democrat on social issues but on economic issues they couldn't imagine voting for Kerry?

Or was this just Shanek jerking us around?

I haven't voted since Wolverine didn't want foreigners to vote so, I cannot see the results of the poll. Could somebody post them?
