I should've pointed out that the greatest (though not the best tasting) cheap beer every produced was Billy Beer.
I tasted a Billy Beer once and was satisfied--that I had enough. :)

Utica Club

Born and raised near the brewery UC is made at, it is by far the cheapest gross beer that you can have the occasional taste for. Good beer for college students due to its price.

Blue Ribbon is also a good choice, my friends and I get that by the pitcher when we go to The Crossroads Tavern (their motto: warm beer, lousy food).

I remember in the mid 80's seeing Black Label beer for about a buck a case after the mail in rebate. I think I even bought a case...Once!:)

Lucky Lager for sure!

Anyone else remember Lucky Lager Draft! That was actually a step above and same cheap price =)))

Us teens didn't have much money in those days.

Ballentine Ale.

Yuengling Porter if you're in Pennsylvania.

Yes, but Yuengling Porter isn't all bad, so I'm not sure you can include it in the swill catagory.

Little Kings Cream Ale (little bottles)

Red, White and Blue

I have to agree about the Yuengling--while it was relatively cheap I still like it. Luckily I can find it here in NY.

Not swill, but cheap. At least, it used to be.
