The case for Amy Klobuchar?

I thought everyone agreed that she was going to be the VP.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I think if Biden gets the nomination that will happen. In fact, I think she may have been offered it as incentive to get out now rather than after Super Tuesday. Note that she has not only endorsed Biden but is now appearing at his campaign rallies.
 
I can see that happening, but would prefer Biden (or Bernie) not choose ANY sitting Senator. We need them where they are.

Well, she would likely be replaced by another Democrat. The governor of Minnesota is a Democrat, and apparently if her seat were to be vacated, the governor would name an interim replacement.

Yeah, she would probably be replaced by a Democrat, but there's no guarantee that he/she would win their first election. Maybe better to keep the Senators you have than guess about what might happen.

Exactly. Too many Dems left the Senate after Obama's election, Biden to Veep and others, including Hillary, to the Cabinet. Even if they were replaced by appointed Dems, it weakened the caucus.
