The case against Dr. Paul

Hey Jerome 3%!

LOL

Paul was always a joke, just not to the cultists.

Yeah, this is really not significant at all.

Floridians' main concerns are the war and the economy.

So, they voted for a man (McCan't) that has guaranteed more wars, further ruining the economy (which he admitted he doesn't have a clue about) he also cannot see that one directly effects the other. Like Dr. Paul said, "the war and economy are one in the same."

From this the conclusion I draw about Floridians are that they are sadly uninformed.

What's your excuse?

#341 is the reason that FL is insignificant. Giuliani is done, Ron Paul will now have to be given a fair shake in media coverage.

They should do a exit poll on how many voters are actually familiar w/ Ron Paul, his positions or his new way forward. This set back is attributed to his virtual media black-out in FL.

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!

Get over it, no one likes Ron, not voters, not the vast, overwhelming majority of people who have actually voted.

Next week, he will be lucky to get 3% in any state.

Funny thing is that the Paul koolaid drinkers think 3% is great, because the fringe usually gets less than 0.5%.

Michael Badnarik!

Spin it any way you want, only a few thousand dorks with yard signs want Ron Paul.

New way forward? Abolishing trade with Canada and Mexico, going back to the gold standard, banning abortions, getting rid of the Fed, cutting social security, leaving the UN and all the rest is PROGRESS?

Ron Paul wants to take America back to the 19th century.

But, but....its REVOLUTION!!!

Silly libertarians, and fringe, they always think that everyone is like them, everyone is a RP dork.

Every 4 years they get reminded how much of a tiny minority they are.

I'm right, actually, and I got the polls to back me up (unless you are one one of the Ron Paul nutters that think it was RIGGED (cue scary music).

Who am I supporting? None of your damned business! I still don't know!

All those spammed polls, all those signs, nothing but a paper tiger.....

ksbluesfan : That article is just scratching surface. Not that long ago I saw a very nicely done study by handfull of european economists who were trying to name all the "could have been the main factors" of the great depression and the list was big. But the point is that it was time specific. Isn't USA an just-in-time economy now?? Some say that it's now mostly service oriented. An IT super-power or an outsourcing legend :D What I really wanted to say that by hearing and reading RP's policies, studying them more in depth, I don't see any reason to be fearful. His official economics plan sounds totaly acceptable. Just look up on his official site for it.

And of course he's basicaly anti this type of globalism. I'm against it too because it will leave the world in a much worser shape than a few small wars. But yeah we have to preserve peace. Those guys are nuts and so is Hillary :P

What is up with your Ron Paul fetish?

Do you have a thing for older men?

I seems all your posts are Ron Paul attacks.

I think you misread the purpose of this forum.

I have just pursued your posts. You do nothing but insult various groups.

This might better suit your mentality:

Maybe the kids would like to talk as opposed to picking their noses whilst insulting?

Ron Paul wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve system.

The Federal Reserve system is what caused a bad recession to become a deep depression.

Milton Friedman: 1976, Friedman won the "Nobel Prize in Economics" "for his achievements in the fields of consumption analysis, monetary history and theory and for his demonstration of the complexity of stabilization policy." (Wiki)

"I think there is universal agreement within the economics profession that the decline - the sharp decline in the quantity of money played a very major role in producing the Great Depression."

"And, indeed, in my opinion would have been over in 1931 at the latest had it not been that the Federal Reserve followed a policy which led to bank failures, widespread bank failures, and led to a reduction in the quantity of money."

But wait! There's more!

"Let me end my talk by abusing slightly my status as an official representative of the Federal Reserve. I would like to say to Milton and Anna: Regarding the Great Depression. You're right, we did it. We're very sorry. But thanks to you, we won't do it again."
Remarks by Governor Ben S. Bernanke

Looking at your posts all I see are Ron Paul attacks as well.

Are you sooo afraid of the old man that you join JREF to attack Ron Paul?

:boggled:

I've been found out. Of course, you could always look and see that for the most part, I am only on this section of the forum, and the most common spot of discussion is Ron Paul. This is not uncommon among the internet. Once the real candidates have been decided, and there is no longer room for speculation, I'm sure my attention will go elsewhere.

Ron Paul, if nothing else, has made arguing on the internet somewhat tolerable for me the last few months. Of course, the kiddy pool is closing, and actual civil discourse may begin soon, so yeah, expect to hear less about Paul from me pretty soon here.

No. There is no Nobel Prize in Economics. There is the The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, which Friedman won in 1976. To call that award a Nobel Prize is like calling a Writer's Guild Award an Oscar. It's a nice award, but it ain't a Nobel.
