The Burmese Junta's punishment

[Undesired Walrus]

With the recent cyclone in Burma, there has been speculation the Burmese Junta did not warn its population out of a punishment for the recent pro-democracy activities.

Whilst it may be ignorance that is to blame for this, it is an interesting question nonetheless. I know not of any evidence (yet) to support a suppression of the coming cyclone.
