Both are in decline at this point. The BNP probably presented more of an issue since it was getting more PR savy. A few street thugs on the other hand is something the police can deal with.

They're pretty stupid. They were here in a multiracial area of Glasgow earlier this year, but they just put on the occasional parade or vigil at say the site of some crime committed by a non-white criminal. Up to now they've had little influence here. I hope that continues.

If I remember your town correctly, when the BNP membership list was leaked a couple of years ago, there were three or four there, albeit that they may have been members of a single family.

Yes, just rechecked and four members in my postcode area.

That membership list is one reason why I don't worry about the BNP as they had a bit of an implosion.

They've never had an ideology as such, just individuals obsessed by hate and rancour. So I suppose their organisation is fated to disintegrate into its component parts.

I used to scan EDL forums occasionally when they were at their height. It was quite amusing to see the infighting/back-biting and bitching first hand.

None of the subgroups trusted each other at all, and the place was full of threads condemning some senior member or other of being a police plant or a secret marxist infiltrator.
