I thought the title was a euphemistic reference to a certain bathroom activity. I see it's not, so no. However, I do have a certain trepidation over a imminent big boom boom.

The forecast is partly cloudy in the areas of the eclipse in Oregon and Idaho on the 21st. If the weather forecast is not favorable on the day before then I'll settle for the .93 eclipse in the Seattle area instead of driving 3-4 hours to watch the total eclipse through the clouds.

I was going to head up to Oregon to visit my sister and watch the eclipse, but after hearing how chaotic it is supposed to be where she's at and everywhere else, fuhgeddaboutit.

I'm going to mount a round piece of cardboard on a pole in my backyard, sit in the appropriate spot, and have my own party. I may even have more than one eclipse.

Anybody wants to come over just bring a sixer of good beer. I'll make a bigger cardboard circle. Or you can bring a hat with a piece of cardboard dangling from the brim. We'll use em for target practice afterward.
