Biden was on a roll when I turned it off but I could tell it was partially a campaign speech. "Ironworkers...manufacturing". Nuff said
But he sounded good. The beginning of the speech seemed awkward and poorly written unless he ad-libbed parts. I'm glad I missed the drama from the Repubs, I can't actually watch most of them.
I've been too distracted by the Republicans and other disasters to consider an alternate candidate. I'd expect the Democrats to maybe mention a few themselves. They could have tried.
Is it strange that nobody stepped up? Did anyone?
I think a good strategy would be to announce later and possibly limit some of the Republican bullcrap flung at them due to time constraints. It's not too late. Technically.
My friend's Mom slipped into full on dementia within the past two years and she's mid 70s. So did my step-Mom. We're taking a risk putting all our eggs in the Biden basket.
But if it's Biden he has my vote. Any Democrat would though, as with 2020.
I see Harris is his running mate. Anyone know medically/statistically what the odds are that she will be our next interim-President?
The Repubs prophecy will come true, although a bit late

. Hmm it could still happen this term though.
What happens if Joe falls ill before the election? Who runs?
Shaky stuff in my opinion.
