The Biblical Realities of Hell

But you and I haven't been talking crap to each other for ten years, and don't have any history of inside jokes between us, since we've rarely posted to each other.

So when you post an obscene picture aimed at me, there are a couple of obvious options:

You're a non-Christian playing the role of a mean Christian just to make Christians look bad (which is not really something I'd condone, but I know a lot of people do it).

Or you're actually a Christian, in which case my original question stands:

Do you consider the above taunting episode to be an example of the way a Christian should behave, and therefore something you're proud of? Or is it one of those occasional lapses?
No Christans on this planet are perfect, and it was all for fun.

Google those numbers.

No, I'm not asking Google. You simply need to tell me what you're trying to tell me without just posting irrelevant numbers.

Or, if you like, two can play that game. Google "religious fundies wrong". My work here is done.

Religious fundies are always wrong.

2012 gravitational influence is going to realign it's self from the beginning of the cycle that lines up all the way from the Galactic center to our solar system according to the Mayan calendar.
For them it was an end and an end to the world.
That I don’t buy, but what reaction in the Earth might be effected will relate to either more quakes or less and other disasters related to gravitational influences.
2029-35, possible asteroid strike, that is what might be called the Star Wormwood in the bible.
That's just off the top on my head.

Hey Edge, heres a bit from Neil deGrasse Tyson, very short, less than 3 minutes, he agrees with the alignment idea,

you'll enjoy it
;)

Google those numbers.
while you're at it, you could also google "1 in 250,000" in relation to those numbers and then you need to google "450 metres" and work out why that isn't really all that much to worry about

Yep I seen it before.

no increase at all
;)

This stream of consciousness rambling still doesn't answer the question.

What are the exact markers I (or anyone) would see that would prove that the hand of God was involved rather than something being a random act of nature?

You want an unbiased look, here:http://www.emdat.be/natural-disasters-trends

My point is that this year we will see the chart by pass all we know so far...and go through the roof and if you don't see the incrase for a century, well then.
I live here and don't believe everything the U.S. gov. puts out there.
The last one I posted is one days worth.

The graphs are of "reported" incidences.

Ill let you connect the dots on the rest.

Today we have satellites that allow us to track large storms in the ocean that never make landfall - and hurricanes that never make landfall. We couldn't do that 100 years ago so, of course, there will be greater reporting of these things in 2011 than in 1911. We also have more seismographs placed around the world - and more sensitive seismographs.

ETA: The idea that we are recording or reporting greater numbers of smaller events is supported by another graph that you didn't post. The cited website shows people killed by natural disasters in the past 110 years and there is a dramatic drop in the number of deaths in the past 30 years.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Well, then what?
You will admit you are wrong?
You will reconsider the reasoning that lead you to an incorrect conclusion?
You'll shrug it off and believe even harder?

I can't wait to resurrect this thread in January of 2013.

I do admire you willingness to succinctly state what you believe. So many other posters resort to hints about their beliefs.

Or she is still a Christian and you failed in your attempts to convert her to your way of thinking.

I think you can understand this, I hope.

She is not a christian. There was no converting her to any way of thinking outside of learning how to think. And when one does that, the sky daddy goes away.
