Teabagger Calls Bloomberg "Judenrat"

I am going to assume that he used "Judenrat" the same way that white nationalists refer to officials in the government as "Shabatz goyim."

This may well be because he is, in simple fact, a Nazi turd who likes to project, posture, obfuscate and mislead a lot.

well, by constantly asking me "when do you think the use of the word would be appropriate?", I figured you were suggesting that calling Bloomberg a Judenrat fit the bill.

Seriously? By constantly telling you it was a racial slur and that it's offensive because it's a racial slur, you took that to mean I approved of its use?

What...the...?

Tu quoque is not always a fallacy. My point is that either they both are racist are neither are racist if the same standards are applied. If someone disagrees these are both non-racists, I think we can rationally disagree. It is definitely in the grey area. If someone can claim one slur is racist and the other is not, I am willing to listen to the logic behind it and reexamine my thoughts. Mostly I was bringing up the Uncle Tom to show to Thunder why people would think Judenrat is a racial slur. Uncle Tom usually is considered so and I felt they were equivalent constructions.

My vote is for both.

Well, you DO tend to use open-ended questions in that way, so call a spade a spade I say.

I apologize if I misconstrued your previous post. The last line left me with the impression that this was a "Well, your side isn't exactly perfect either" kind of comment. If that was not the intention, then I apologize (if that was not the intent, then this would be a valid use of tu quoque).

dude...it was an honest and logical intepretation of your question.

you seemed to be suggesting it was an appropriate use of the slur.

Ah okay. I actually think Michael Steele is a blundering idiot as far as a man in the public light is concerned. Plus he is actually on the opposite side politically from me. I just find the Uncle Tom comments to be uncalled for. No, I just wanted to show an example of what I thought for clarifcation, not as a distraction.
