She got 40% the same way Alvin Greene got 28%; by people voting against the party they dislike the most.

Yeah, exactly. As evidence, I point to the fact that the Green Party candidate got 9%. Now, in California or Oregon, that's not beyond the pale - but this is South Carolina. Not exactly a hotbed of Green politics.

If the Greens were better about getting their message out and removing their thumbs from their asses, they could've had a real opportunity to take advantage of discontent with the Democrats.

I'm just waiting for them to vote Palin off, but I think since she's part of the Beck Alliance, she'll be there for a while.
 
Well, the only one claim that O'Donnell made which I actually took seriously, was the one where she said "I am not a witch.".

Because if O'Donnell is a witch, then either Dorthy Gale would have dropped a house on her by now and stole her ruby slippers,

or O'Donnell would be the next Senator of Deleware.

But, since neither of these two things have happened, then that is good evidence that O'Donnell is not a witch after all.

By the way, in case you cannot tell, I am glad that O'Donnell lost this election.

SNL will miss her...but I do not think we have seen the last of her.

I suspect she will be a commentator for FOX before all is said and done.

Perhaps a talk show with her and Sarah as hosts...
