Tate Brothers Charged with Rape in the UK

Anyway, the important question is why is Andrew Tate buying shampoo and conditioner?

Yer man's bald.
I'm guessing it might be because virtually any shampoo nowadays is also boasting being body gel or such. You can wash head to toe with it if you want to. And we wouldn't want such a "tough real man" to suffer by having to use prison soap :P

Not exactly evidence against your contention
Just to clarify, about that lunatic's claim that they're accused of no American crime: The extradition treaty between the UK and the USA, as updated in 2003, needs:
- that it be a crime in both countries (you don't extradite someone for, say, blasphemy if it's not a crime in the USA too)
- a sufficient reason to arrest them in the country requesting them ("probable cause" for extraditing them to the USA, "reasonable suspicion" to send them to the UK)
- that it must not be a political case

So yes, they very much are accused of doing something that is a crime in the USA too. Otherwise the USA would have just laughed at it.

In fact, as I was saying, they could be literally tried in the USA for some of the same crimes, not just breaking the same laws. You can be prosecuted in the USA for child sexual exploitation abroad, to crack down on "sex tourism." If the UK wanted to wash its hands of it, it could just send the evidence to the FBI, and the Tates would be prosecuted in the states instead.

Which might be preferable for them - it depends on if they really are rich or not, the cost of a presidential pardon is around a $10 million bung to to Trump.

It's not a crime in the UK either.

What a real man wants is a shampoo that can do hair, body, dog, washing up, laundry and degrease an engine.

Yes, well, it's a standard clause in extradition treaties, not just with the UK and not just for blasphemy. As a more concrete example, Brazil could refuse to extradite someone for having sex with a 12 year old, since it's not a crime in Brazil.

Also, just now it dawns upon me: they were complaining about hangnails and not having a nail clipper. (As I guess any real hard alpha male does;)) Well, if they're allowed to buy their own spoon and bowl, why not just buy a nail clipper? Or ask that lawyer to bring them one?

You probably wouldn't be denied clippers if you're allowed your own spoon in your room. I mean, you can sharpen a spoon handle into a shiv. I can't imagine sharpening the little file on a nail clipper into anything anyone would be afraid of. You could probably cut yourself if you were an emo teen, but that's about it.

They've never heard of biting your nails?

They're Brits: we all know how to do that.

Come to think of it, the two of them remind me of the old Herbaliser song:

"He's rough. He's rugged. He's red-blooded. He's romantic. He's full of ◊◊◊◊."

You could also try John Cooper Clarke's "Health Fanatic" or the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band's "Johnny Apollo", mebbe at a pinch even The Kinks' "David Watts", which a few of us will know better from The Jam's cover.
