TAM9 -- Is it happening?

SkepticScott & Others,

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't know how many people attend these events & of course I already expressed my sensitivity to how most people are interested in the keynote speakers. Yes an event that large, requires organization and entails some limitations to audience participation. I'm glad there are smaller sessions where some give and take is manageable & acceptable.

Another factor to consider is, keynote speakers aside, it's hard to find a bad conversation at TAM. It can be done, but you quickly learn which people to avoid.

The Q&A during the sessions have to be managed, but outside of that the JREF tries to have the speakers available.

Last year there were some complaints that too many of them were in the fund-raising lunches, and not enough were in the lunch. I hope we don't repeat that this year.

If nothing else, you can always talk to 'Scrut. :p
