TAM7 Volunteer thread

I'd like to help. I'm extremely flexible in that I haven't yet purchased my flight ticket and can work around you guys' schedule.
 
My flight out Sunday isn't until after 11, so if you need more help with post-event or post TAM please let me know. I can't figure out the rest of the schedule, much less keep track of what all is going on when, or I'd volunteer for some other time as well.

Hi Pope,
I have enough volunteers at the moment. Could I keep you as an alternate in case someone cancels?

I've already tossed this message directly to Scott, but in the interest of also peppering the forums ;) ...

I'm pretty much available for filling in any way which will help out the greater TAM effort.

My primary goal in coming to (my first!) TAM is to meet people and contribute!

I did, did it work? I haven't heard back from you.

At any rate, we'll do the stuff you've put us down for, and are willing to do other stuff.
 
I know I seem new, but I've been lurking for years. I'm LV Local so if you need errands run before or after hand, I can help out. Due to unpredictable family health issues, I can't commit to helping or even showing at TAM until it's time to leave, but I'd just assume help out as sit around not knowing anyone.

Thanks, I'll keep you in mind if we need an errand.

I wouldn't worry about not knowing anyone if you attend TAM. You'll be surprised at how friendly everyone is. There will be a Forum table run by KittyNH and other friendly Forumites. Many people add their forum name or avatar to their badge, so be on the lookout,

I am serious about errands, call if you need send a PM with and I will provide IRL contacts.

I have no doubt the forumites are of a great callliber, while they seem of the highest quality, I just doubt that I would measure up to such. I'll keep by quiet (in)superiority, thank you ;)

Just remember, I am tenatious acheiveing tasks entrusted to me, and am willing to serve this cause.
 
Didn't I volunteer for packet-stuffing, like, several months ago?
Or was that not yet the official volunteer list? (I have, need, want, etc...)

Maybe Scott was fed up with having me complicate things during packet-stuffing and more specifically during packet-stuffing-setup :boxedin:
 
Is there still room for volunteers? I'd be thrilled to have to opportunity to help out this year. Last year was the first I didn't...

I think I've got enough. Could I keep you as an alternate in case people cancel at the last minute? Otherwise you can enjoy the conference, if KittyNH doesn't grab you to help with the Forum table.

I am arriving on Thursday early afternoon and will be available; also, the Peanut -- responsible 10-year-old--can help if we are not in Sekrit Members Only areas.

I am not leaving until Monday morning, so if you need someone to help Sunday with apres-event stuff, contact me.
