I couldn't tell what brand dissolution cells they were. It looked like they might have been old Pharmacopia (then was amersham, now is GE healthcare...i think) ones.

I don't get star-struck often. I've gotten to meet a few celebs because of my friend's job and never batted an eyelash. But when I met Randi after a lecture in New York I was pretty nervous. Had the same reaction when I met Richard Dawkins.

Randi couldn't have been nicer. Dawkins...well, not so much.
 
I'm actually not all that interested in getting photos of me with various celebrities. I'll get the photos of the celebrities, sure. But I'm not so obsessed with getting photos of me with them. I'm sure other people will take photos of me with celebrities, and that's good enough for me. So long as they tag me on Flickr or Facebook.
