TAM7 Photo Thread

I finally figured out how to upload a picture.

Here is a picture of me and one of the speakers from a forum at the recent Christian Book Expo in Dallas. (Sorry you weren't there, US)

That guy looks drunk, and I bet Hitchens is also.:duck:

I can state categorically that there was no liquor being sold at the Christian Book Expo.:D

And CH did a good job considering he had to simultaneously "debate" four different Christian apologists as well as debate the "moderator" and field 100% of the "questions" from the audience.

Okay, so now I know that HarryKeogh is actually a woman, and that it's quite unlikely that her real name is Harry Keogh. Possibly her name is Harriet. On the other hand, this may be a reference to the Necroscope horror novels by Brian Lumley. Of course, I only know this because my friend Bill just Googled "Harry Keogh." Otherwise I wouldn't have had a clue.

As usual, I'm quite far outside the loop.

Huh? I happen to know that HarryKeogh (not his real name) is a guy.

Despite what you may have heard from my high school gym teacher, my dad and several of my ex-girlfriends, I am 100% man.

OK. Maybe 95% man but that 5% woman is all raging-lesbian.

Ok, HarryK, that was REALLY funny. Now my keyboard has coffee sprayed all over it.

:jaw-dropp What kind of questions did he get from the audience? I want to hear more... start a thread? Or is there a thread?

The question I remember the best was when a Christian asked him to evaluate a decision made by a Christian whether to preach to him about repenting if said Christian believed it was the only way to protect CH from hell. The question was in essence: if a Christian really believed this, wouldn't it be wrong not to evangelize?

I just checked Youtube and found some footage of the "debate" including the second one where the "moderator" even admits he is abusing his power.

But you are probably right, I should start a new thread,

In that photo above, there is an older woman and two younger men. The caption reads "Myself, with my spawn (Sailor Boy and Travisio)." I took the two men to be Sailor Boy and Travisio, which leaves the woman to be you.

However, upon further investigation I see that the photo has nothing to do with you, but in fact is Geek Goddess with her two sons. This should have been obvious from the beginning, since I know what Geek Goddess looks like.

From this we can conclude that not only am I often outside the loop but also I am a spaced-out moron. Or, in my defense, we can conclude that the little open quote symbol in the upper-right corner of quoted posts is not sufficiently obvious.

Well, consider this fair warning. The next time you mistake me for a woman I will hit you with my purse.

Me, taken a bit over a year ago. The biggest difference between the photo and me now is my hair is a couple of inches longer. ;)

This is still me. I visited Chicago at the end of February. It was cold. But not up on the observation deck...
