TAM6 - what do you look like?

The blue macaw is guilty! I can tell by his look. What are their names?
1. Guilt implies a transgression. They look like two consenting birds to me.
2. As the noted British physicist Sir Isaac Newton so aptly put it in his Third Law of Motion, "It takes two to tango."

That's Max on the left (short for Maximillian Pionus), and Boo-boo on the right (named for missing toes (she was born that way) and resulting balance issues). We're a little triangle. :D

In our case, three. Erm, seven if you include the cats. This could get tricky. :D

ETA: Cute pet alert.

I feel the same way about China (I like some of the food) I really really want to see the Terra Cotta Army. But that is a long flight just to see that, which is about all I really want to see. Guess I have to be satisfied with books and the Internet.
The only time I ever went to the Pagent of the Masters the Terra Cotta army was part of it. Truly cool! I'd like to see the Great Wall, and some of the landscapes/mountains, but the cities hold no interest for me.

Oh my! You have many masters. I didn't realize Boo Boo had only 2 talons. Does she cope pretty well.

Damn, am I derailing?

(Lancaster started it.)

That is totally rad! Thanks Robert.

I will be in LA for a meeting August 25 - 26th. Guess I can sneak off or arrive early or stay later and check them out. The rest of the company thinks I'm a freak anyway, on the Cayman Islands (last meeting) I spent most of the time by myself exploring the island's history, not interested in the beaches or shopping. Normally when I attend these meetings I lock myself in my hotel room and read school textbooks. Did I mention that I am about 20 years older than most of my peers!

Anyway, this looks like a great idea. Not sure what part of LA the meeting is in yet.

Hi, here's a recent snapshot of me with a butterfly on my head while visiting Niagara Falls last month. If you see me say hello!

How will we recognize you without the butterfly on your head?
Well, insects seem to have an affinity for me (is it my pungent odor perhaps?), so if not a butterfly, there's a good chance of some kind of creepy-crawly somewhere on me.

I'm told that skepchics find this irresistible.

After de-lurking long enough to sign up for TAM and make a post in the NHL thread...I promptly lurked again. Typical.

As payback, here is a silly photo of me and Mr Puck, and we shall see you all Thursday night.

We're not bringing the pirates, though. Sorry.

PS. Anyone from the Seattle area who wants to meet up during the weekend, feel free to e-mail me at puckishone dot gmail dot com. :)

Thanks to generous Forum Scholarship people, I am bringing one of my employees. She is overwhelmed and can't quite believe it. She found out today, we had long ago given up hope, but Paul emailed her today and I told her we fly out tomorrow. So now she is home watching "Secrets of the Psychics" Nova program to get a crash course in JREF.

I managed to get a picture up on this thread of her. She is really can't believe this is happening to her so please look at her picture and make sure you introduce yourself and shake her hand. Where I live I have always felt alone in the skeptic movement. Finally I will have someone (besides my kids) that will have heard Bidlack's jokes first hand, maybe by the end of TAM she will be able to tell Wiseman from Plait, and will be able to shake Randi's hand.

This is so cool.

BTW her name is Paulina Rodriguez
