In that photo, I think she was around... oh, a month? Six weeks? Now she's eight months. My sister does this thing for her where she sings "Let's Go Fly a Kite" and then sort of hefts her up into the air on the dramatic parts. She giggles like crazy. *sniff* Kids are cute.

It's difficult to describe the look on my face here...pretty sure I wasn't drinking that much! Oh wait , that was after my 45 minute talk went for 90 minutes:blush:

No unfortunately. I wasn't confident I would be in good form after the Skepchicks party...:D umm, I might be tired.:rolleyes:
However I am in California/Nevada for 3 weeks after TAM and I'd be happy to give a talk at a skeptics gathering, pub, Uni. if I happen to be nearby. Talk is "Rational Irrationality" and covers heuristics and biases in decision making in people ,including skeptics. It involves the audience in demonstrating various (entertaining) failures in thinking rationally. :eek: PM me.
Or come over to Adelaide, Australia for the Skeptics National Convention in October.
 
Yeah... I'm sure I can make that Adelaide trip on my teacher's salary.

My wife and I are both TAM virgins so we'll be the ones wandering around looking dazed, confused and vaguely sacrificial.

The Guitar Hero "theme" in both pictures is not intentional, I don´t even like it that much, I am more of a Rock Band man myself (or even Guitar Freaks)
