TAM5 Registration Role Call

And I thought NYC had a lot of temptations to deal with... How do people live there?

I guess I lack the genetic propensity for Vegas' particular temptations--My vices include spending too much time on the internet and accumulating more books than I can ever read--I guess those vices deliver me evil (so to speak). Actually, I was raised here and in my youth I went to a church (which still exists) called Our Lady of Las Vegas...I know it sounds too good to be true, but it IS true. I specifically remember asking my catechism teacher what a virgin was (since it was the big thing about Mary that everyone cared about)--

As for crashing after tequila and chocolate and goats--it's fine with me, but I haven't got a lot of space to stash people (especially those covered in chocolate) though I can manage 10 or 12 goats in my backyard. If I still had the trampoline, I could put the inebriated and somnolent there, but alas...

I’ll be there. This will be my second TAM. Last year I was there on a scholarship. This year the members of The Skeptic Friends Network have taken up a collection to get me there. I don’t really know most of you, though there are a few regulars here that also post at SFN. Hopefully, before the TAM week is over, I will have made a few new acquaintances and perhaps some friendships with some of you who are regular to this forum…

This is my first too!
I'm so excited...I've already packed.
I'm overenthusiastic with most things that excite me I guess. But it's worth it, it's TAM!

Hooray!!!! We meet at last. Guess I have to get a SFN t-shirt now. :D

Hi! Two TAM newbies reporting for duty. Me and a friend will be jetting over from jolly old England to join the fun. It'll also be my first visit to the States. Can't wait! ;)

Wow, your first visit to the U.S. and it's to Las Vegas. Just keep in mind that Vegas is not typical of the rest of the country... Vegas is a very conservative, slow-moving backwards hick town compared to most other places.

Just keep an eye out for the special forum badges so you can find hide from the forumites.

I fixed it for you. ;)

I may try to hide if we keep calling each other forumites. It almost sounds like we crawl around on 6 legs and eat wood.

Or maybe that is just my brain doing that.

One more duck. I'm offically registered.

Tell the Treasure Island bar to order in many more pipecleaners.

Well, Financial Aid gave me my money today and I haven't even paid Housing yet, but I did just get my registration in.

I'm so bad...
