Well, Jeff Wagg answered the question posed by the OP, but for any others planning to attend, here is some further information regarding costs for any new attendees, based on my experience at TAM3:
Travel: Depends on location and availablity of flights. Southwest has a major presence in Vegas so that helps in finding a low-cost alternative for US folks, especially if you are patient enough to check their website often and try and catch a deal. Right now about $300 for my flight.
Hotel: I'm figuring on 3 nights@$60 and 2 nights@$90, or $360 total (Average $72.00). Tax is about 12%, so add $43.20 to the bill for a total of $403.20, or $80.64 a night. You can find cheaper in Vegas, but probably not as nice and you will either need a car or public transportation.
Rental Car: Not needed if you're on a budget, some folks drive and a lot of stuff is in walking distance. The City Bus runs along the strip and to downtown for about $1.25 a trip. Taxies from the airport to the Stardust are about $15-20, (make sure to tell the driver to take paradise and not to take the tunnel, save about $5.00). Best thing to do is to hook up with folks that have wheels and persuade them what you want to do is what they want to do.
Per Diem: A breakfast and lunch buffet is included with the TAM4 cost, so if you can live with that, you only need money for dinner. Buffets and restaurants in Vegas aren't quite the bargain they once were, but you can still get a pretty good meal for under $20, and there is a Mickey D's next door at Circus Circus.
Shows are anywhere from $30-$100, depending on time and popularity. Save money, just walk down the Strip, see the outside attractions and walk through some of the Casinos (the Venetian and Bellagio are attractions all by themselves) and you can kill time without spending tons of money.
So for 5-nights, 6 days (two days travel-in and travel-out), figure to spend about $1,000 (US only), providing you can get a cheap flight. Not inexpensive, but for a week in Vegas with Randi and the folks he's bringing in, not all that bad a deal.
IMHO, of course.
