Unlike the ever confident Claus (who speaks perfect English), both Chaos and Exarch are a tad concious of their English. They shouldn't be. Every one of our non-American, non-Enlgish members speak magnificent English (don't get me started on the Canunks and Scots). And Patricio and Exarch... don't worry guys.. if you need me to translate what the Aussies are saying, I'll do my best. :)

Huh? You told me you "just barely" understood Peter Bowditch, so how are you going to translate?

I'm sorry, but I might have said something about his accent and how unfortunate it was that he had to rush through a great presentation, but I understood him completely during it, and while engaging him in casual conversation.

Luciana however, I'm going to have to refer the Europeans to Patricio or Girl6. :D
 
I think most of you have seen some picture of me at some stage. Anyway, this is one of me at Ephesus a few months ago. The pasty white skin is an affliction of the English weather; I miss my tan! Anyway, it's of me laughing at the carving of a man with his willy missing. Teehee....

I'm flattered you remembered! Yes, I tend to stick out like a sore thumb. At TAM2 I can't remember how many times paople asked me if I was related to Penn. I wish. I know Penn is about the farthest thing you can get from being a supermodel, but I'm still flattered. Penn is my Hero. 6'-6" Penn happens to be the shorty in this poor quality picture of us at TAM2.

No way. I clearly remember sitting next to you during Peter Bowditch´s presentation. I leaned over to you and asked: "Do you understand what he says?"
And you answered: "Just barely."
 
Here's my favorite picture of my TAM2 trip. My best friend, Kevin (sleeping beauty), and I drove from Phoenix. I took this photo while driving about 90mph steering with a hot cup of coffee in my left hand, the camera in my right and clearly not a single eye on the road. . . . . Admitedly, I'm not the brightest tool in the shed sometimes.

We will be driving up again for TAM3 too! Obviously, I won't be hard to find so please stop me and say hi - I'm pretty damn tall even when I'm sitting down. I wasn't a part of the Forum before TAM2, but now that I am, I'm very much looking forward to meeting you all!

Thanks, US. I had a rather long talk with one Aussie and it was not that hard for me to understand him.

I'll definitely need help on how to order and eat Mexican food, however :D. Also, advice on American strong beer will be appreciated.

wow! The women of the Earth Science department can walk on water!

Please note that while Kitten and I have some resemblance to each other, she is from Pool Boy's first marriage. No way a woman that is interested in some serious flirting at TAM3 (Claus, Electric Monk, and the others please note) has a child in college. (Unless we want to use the child genius theory, hmmm, would anyone buy that Kitten is only 10 years old, but already in her junior year at college?)
