TAM3 Picture Post!

Well, you heard it folks, it's not my fault, my arm is being twisted here ... :D

I hope to be somewhat less round when I arrive at TAM. However, dinner last night did nothing to help that cause...
 
I had some KICK *** sushi tonight and thought of you, Loon. I was telling my date about my cool friend that lived in Japan.
 
Ack! Sushi craving!!!!!!

But how good can it be to have slabs of raw meat serve to remind others of you....

Loon is decidedly less epithelial than I had envisioned him...

Exarch, grow and keep the beard dude. You look nerdy and European with the clean shaved look, but you look slightly less nerdy, though still European with the facial hair. It's a good look, go with it.

I'm very well aware that unshaven is a better look for me. Except, more than a week and it looks all bad again. So I need to shave every so often.

Get some clippers with guides. If not, then cut the shaving about 3 weeks before TAM3.

Note to skepchicks - please continue shaving your legs, etc. up until and during TAM3...

The big question is: will skepchicks like kissing me if I have stubble?

I'm not taking any chances dude. The beard is off during TAM ...

I've never heard that word used to describe a person before... Like a couple of layers of cells with nothing in between? As in maybe scrawny?

I wonder how we make images of things like body size just by reading what a person writes.
 
I wasn't quite sure what he meant either, but assumed he meant "less skin-ny than ...".
 
Not that I can Kiss any skeptdudes, but you look very kissable with the facial hair exach :)

Course, any of the kissing skepchicks can bring in more weight on their opinions :D

I meant Epicanthal, and was making a joke about your Angloness. I guess that's what I get for not doing a Google/dictionary.com check to see if my quip was factually correct enough to be humorous.

And double kudos to Exarch for catching my error despite not being a native English speaker. I had a similar situation with -=Vagrant=- and my misspelling of "vendetta."
 
I hosted a Japanese dinner party last Saturday. I made about 52 pieces of sushi.

They didn't last. 9 people + 52 sushi + miso soup + shiitake & somen + green tea ice cream -> 0 sushi leftover.

The handrolled sushi didnt work out well; only made 4. I used regular parsley instead of italian, and the stems to tie the whole thing together were too short.

Next time, only half will have wasabi. DAMN, a little of that stuff goes a long way. Maybe I should just feature it as a condiment.

We will discuss this at TAM. We will have lots to talk about, even without talking about the meat aspects of sushi :)

Oh, there was no meat: I'm a vegetarian.

The large sushi rolls contained: cucumber, seasoned omelette, seasoned kampyo, and takuan (pickled radish). 3/4 of them had waaaaaaaaaasabi! (which is how you pronouce it after you take a bite)
