Someone from Aberdeen has to respond to that now...Obviously to short to get a geography lesson.
Huh?Obviously to short to get a geography lesson.
Sorry a British obsession.Huh?
Sorry a British obsession.
The perception of many people in the South East is that “the north” of the country starts around 30 miles above central London.
This is often corrected out by people in the North of England who claim that "oop north" starts around 200 miles higher than this before, as Jumile points out, a northern Scot reminds them that north of England is actually 200 miles down south.
On a side note,
Just came back from a 3-hour walk on rainy Hyde Park-Kengsington Gardens. What a wonderful piece of nature, so well taken care of. The trees are awesome, very old living beings of so many different varieties. Simply wow!
Now I'm revitailized for a good bye evening of noisy crowded pubs, and .... beer.
Comments on TAM London to come.
Thanks again for everything! The speakers (what bits I saw) were incredible. Everyone loved the Tim Minchin Storm animation I'm producing, right?

Sorry to derail further, but couldn't resist. It's just that I loved Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
