Wouldn't it be like carrying around a big sodding brick on your head though? And look rather goofy?

...look goofier. The nice thing about looking like me is, carrying a big sodding brick around on my head might well go unnoticed.

The cheap-ass wireless webcam we used this year weighs 8 oz (230g) and is about 3"x6" (8cmx18cm). You'd need a battery pack in your pocket too. It definitely would look goofy.

Better solutions could probably be had by throwing money at the problem.

Are we going for the tie-pin or eyeglass cameras?
I think Mercutio would definitely look goofy with glasses ...

Seriously though, a web cam is not that big or heavy, it is completely in the realm of possibility to make-shift something together that isn't too big or wieldy, but still noticable enough so people will know who to avoid if they don't want to be on camera
It might be interesting.

The only issue I see is power consumption. The existing webcam takes about 10 watts, which is a substantial amount to provide from a battery pack.
