You previously signed up for the Harbor Cruise, didn't you?
Be sure to check the boxes next to events you've already signed up for, or the application acts as if you are removing items. Double-check what if has you listed as being signed up for.
It happened to me too, and I noticed that the cruise was no longer in the list.
Dr Karl and Richard Saunders are running a Guinness World Record attempt for the biggest magic lesson, on the morning (7:45am) of the 26th at the Sydney Masonic Centre. It's for spoon bending (spoons provided). Please sign up. We need 300.

???
I believe we had 900 do this at TAM 7.
Yep, it all seems to be sorted out now.All you have to do is to go back in and make sure all the boxes are checked for everything you're going to.
Yeah - I'm pretty sure that time of the morning doesn't actually exist, and is just a myth perpetrated by night elves to convince the rest of us that sleep isn't important.Dr Karl and Richard Saunders are running a Guinness World Record attempt for the biggest magic lesson, on the morning (7:45am) of the 26th at the Sydney Masonic Centre. You need to stay up later then.Yeah - I'm pretty sure that time of the morning doesn't actually exist
I believe that was a record for largest spoon bend, not for a magic lesson.

We were taught how to bend spoons... what's the difference?
<confused>
What's the difference? A spoon bend is a magic trick, and we were taught how to do it.
ETA: I just saw Jeff's post. Great minds think alike.
The meetup page says David Copperfield has the current world record. Wikipedia says he has 11 guinness world records, but none of them for anything related to this. It's from 2006 so it could be out of date, but hopefully it would have been updated.

Couldn't find any results for the spoon bend mentioned. Tried searching JREF, spoon bend, amazing meeting, James Randi, Richard Wiseman, with no luck. I suspect Alan is correct about the record being aimed for is the one that is recorded.
