Well, I'm willing to say that your Forum named is tentatively confirmed (final proof is when I get too meet you at TAM5) ;) :D

I would suggest an amendment to a.real.attractive.woman, but that doesn't have the same catchiness, does it?

Funny story about that: I originally intended to post a photo of me with Kari Byron from Dragon*Con, for the third one. I accidentally chose the Summer Glau one, instead, and realized it was probably a better choice, anyway.

Here is my photo with Kari (and other MythBusters) from D*C:

My shirt is different, because it was taken the next day. (Yes, I do own more than one shirt!)

(FYI: The photo at the top of my "jealousy" post (#28) was taken at TAM4, the one in the middle taken at a hotel bar during the Environmental Wars conference. Kari showed up at both, for some reason.)

I am not sure if I will have a beard or not during TAM5. It depends on how lazy I am the few weeks before it.

Remind me to tell you the story of how I came to suspect (incorrectly) that Kari was "stalking" me, some day.

Here I am, just for Hamradioguy. This was last xmas, for a fancy dress party. The theme was 'Footballers' Wives', I was dressed as a sort of Nancy Del Olio, my friend Dave was an early David Beckham.

That was my theory.

See, when I registered for TAM4, the only MythBusters guests that were scheduled to show up were the main dudes: Adam and Jamie. After I registered, Kari also decided to show up.

Then, at the Environmental Wars, it looked like Adam was going to be a guest, according to all the publicity. But, after I arrive, guess who decides to show up instead... Kari! And she brought Peter Rees (creator of the MB show, and the other guy in the photo) with her.

Then there was Dragon*Con. When I registered for it, there was no mention that any of the MythBusters were going to show up. But then, a few weeks after I registered, guess who gets added to the guest list? That's right! Kari Byron, again!! This time, she had brought some of the other Build-Team members with her.

Not that I mind the attention, though. :D

But, everyone knows psychic powers don't work when there is "negative energy" eminating from any skeptics that happen to be around! That's why no psychic has gotten the million, yet. And, I have a funny feeling Kari is just the sort of gal to eminate such negative vibes.

A better explanation is that she is using me as a role model for the sorts of events a good geek should attend. Any event I attend must be geeky, therefore she must attend it, also!
