Sunday night, the Aussies were trying to get rid of their excess beer, so I ended up carting a whole case down to the Del Mar. No comment from anyone except Jeff Wagg, if memory serves.....

The date that was mentioned earlier in this thread was the weekend of July 4th:

Weekend after July 4th, no? July 4 is a Sunday next year, so TAM would start on Thursday the 8th and go through Sunday the 11th.
 
I was very eager to go to TAM 7 (it would have been my first TAM) and even registered for everything within minutes of the registration opening. But I had to cancel later because a work-related trip came up. :(

Can't wait for TAM 8 now. Count in me. Definitely going.
 
I seriously considered going to TAM7. I only recently learned about JREF, so I was unsure, and I had already taken about 4 weeks of vacation within the last year. Now that I watched TAM7 on ustream and followed the twitter postings from some of the attendees, I will definitely try to make it to TAM8 next year. I have it on my calendar.
 
I'll be there. I may even have a *bigger* caravan driving down from Minnesota next year. Midwestern TAM8 Party Bus! Woo!

You are correct, my friend. I read the original post wrong. That would be the last weekend of my Uni holidays. Will still be there.
 
I hoping to attend TAM8. TAM7 was great fun but I was a little bewildered at times. I think I'll hang out more in the bars at the next TAM.

Same here. However, after attending TAM6 I wasn't expecting to be able to attend TAM7, but events conspired favourably and I was there, much to my own surprise. So, I'll wait and see...
 
TAM8, I am there!! Oh, yes, I am. I believe Himself will also be there, but at this writing I am leaning towards leaving the Beauty Girl at home. Part of the fun of TAM is the late night roving bar party/conversation/argument/philosophic discourse and being Mom would not allow me to do that. Also, the Forum now has multiple posts about how cute and amazing the Child is, and nobody mentioning me :(

TAM is amazingly affordable if you decide it's essential to your continued survival as a consciousness.

This is what we'd call "unaustralian". The only way a true Australian gets rid of excess beer is by drinking it.
