TAM 8 - Thursday Lunch at Ichiban Sushi

I have a favorite Japanese restaurant/sushi bar over at Bally's on the strip. Every year I attend TAM, I drag my mother there for lunch on Thursday. Last year we had about 15 people watching Mom try to gross people out by eating a bowl of what looks like snot. Geek Goddess has already expressed interest, so we have two cars that can take people over there. If anyone else would care to join us for some excellent Japanese food (Loon?), please post here so we can arrange a meet-up and ride-share.

EclecticSkeptic and I are up for some snot-watching (again). She will be eating things cooked beyond recognition and I will be throwing darts at a menu written in Japanese and seeing what I get, snot or not.

This sounds like a great idea. Looove sushi and seeing Hokulele’s mom gross out the meat and potatoes crowd sounds like fun. And I can only hope they have fresh urchin roe, my favorite. Attending the early Science Based Medicine workshop may cause a problem but if not sounds great! And I'll also have a car.

That depends on what you like to eat. IIRC, most meals are under $15 and many of the appetizers are under $10 and can be a meal in themselves.
