TAM 8 Roll Call!

[SkepticScott]

Yes! There are 108 people on that list, which is almost 10% of the people who have pre-registered.

[snoma]

I got a question regarding my TAM tickets. Bear with me, I might have many silly questions, this is my first time attending TAM.

I ordered them online. Do I pick them up at the South Point Hotel and Casino on the day or what? Cause they sure haven't been mailed to me. Which I suppose isn't that weird, as I'm from Norway.

Still though how does this work?

[Paul C. Anagnostopoulos]

Nothing is mailed out. You show up and find the registration desk. Then all your materials are magically given to you.

Is that a rule? I have volunteered to support registration, and my sleight of hand is a bit rusty...

[JamyeJ]

Am I the only one tempted to print out this list and go around TAM with it as a checklist? I want to meet all of you!

Xenxabar does it every year.

Sweet. I get to learn real magic as a bonus, not that fake illusion stuff that Randi does

(I have volunteered to help put the packets together Wed morning.)

[habu]

somewhere between post 439 and post 442, I dropped off. Maybe I didn't do something right but if someone could re-add me that would be cool.

Not that I *need* to be added, I don't really post enough for anyone to know who or what habu is

Thanks

It used to be possible to meet all the forumites, back when there were 30-40. Not anymore.

108 people over the course of four days seems do-able.

Who's up for the challenge?

Just hypothetically . . . what if one of them is being deliberately evasive?

Well, my checklist is much longer, but it is also much less fun.

I want to meet all of you!

Not if I meet you, first!

Then they wouldn't be there to begin with!

Nah, I wouldn't care about it that much...

And I'll just follow xenxabar around.

Have we just invented the Forumite Scavenger Hunt?

Have we just invented the Forumite Scavenger Hunt?

The first person to gather signatures of everyone on the list and hand it to a designated leader gets a prize?

[Allecher]

Which might be particularly hard since some of us <cough, cough> don't have avatars yet.

That just makes the game more interesting.

The prize could be "bragging rights" or "enough new friends to choke an iPhone".

Habu, you're in the table as of post #459.

You're only a few away. That can easily be remedied today, and when it is post to the Avatar thread here.

YAY! going to TAM...going to TAM...going to TAM... YAY!
