I lost the extra padding I put on after the twins and am finally back down to the weight I had been most of my life. The worst part is finding out just how much muscle mass I've lost since I stopped working in EMS.

Boo, GG, and any other woman having Self Doubt:

The amount of clothing will vary, clearly. The point is to have being gorgeous, flirty, and on horseback...In my experience, ANY amount of skin not normally shown by a woman counts to men as a Good Thing. The parting veil is a lot sexier than the same skin just hanging out. (All lingerie makers know this.)

Should we also require any audience members to supply all riders with Godiva (tm) chocolates?? Before and after beverages??

I'd totally provide chocolates in return. In fact, if you require stable boys to lead the horses about, I'll be in for that too. I do have experience with horses (although not in the American style of riding).
 
Wow!

I'm glad everyone's so excited about Southpoint!

I like it there. I had a meal at one of the restaurants and it was fabulous and affordable. It's not a fancy place, but it's new and crisp and has lots of options for things to do. It's a very open/airy clean place.

Hotel room rates.. will be MUCH lower than last year. We'll get pricing done as soon as we can, probably a couple of months.

Also, the convention room is awesome. It has a stage! and it's nice.. and stuff. And the food will be right next door.

And.. best of all.. we'll be bringing our own A/V crew! We don't have to rely on the hotel this year. (That means when it's screwed up this time, it's our fault.)
 
Jeff, it's really not nice of you to make me more excited then I already am. I'm already having enough trouble waiting a whole year. :(
 
I missed something somewhere... we're going riding nekkid at TAM7?

Okay, folks. I will be starting the TAM 7 JREF Godiva Ladies Ride thread after the 8th, when I finish my quarter at school. Meanwhile, i have to find out how to copy posts to new threads--assuming that's allowed, if so credited? -- so that the stuff here ends up there, too...

Anybody who knows where I should look (or if this is a moderater issue) please PM me.

Mega-bummer! Looks like the Equestrian Events Center is an arena / show space, not a riding arena for Mere Mortals. Dammitall! I was looking forward to this...hmmm.

Anybody got suggestions?
